    For GPX this is specified in
    <extensions>
    <gte:name>#2</gte:name>
    <gte:color>#00ce00</gte:color>
    </extensions>

    I'd suggest to preserve functionality it be off by default, and a new API parameter be added,
    e.g. clr=on and clr=off
    and wp=on or wp=off

    I fully support. Shame I have run out of votes.
    In fact this needs to happen regularly as names are being updated to correctly, e.g. Ōhau

  3. update track STATUS every month, especially newly opened and closed tracks using DOC notices.

    DoC have a API (https://api.doc.govt.nz/getting-started) which although it has problems is adequate. Note that the data behind could be better. See some doco here https://kiwiwiki.nz/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Cookbook/NZDoC

    Be more helpful if these were added as separate ideas.

  10. Include track plotting by placing waypoints on the map to help with trip planning. Including distance, climb, descent etc.

    With free options such as OneDrive, GoogleDrive, DropBox etc available, its difficult to see how the the cost of storage could be met by NZ Topo Map
